Chenang Beach Langkawi
The most popular Beach in Langkawi Island, Cenang Beach is a 2KM stretch beach with a beautiful white sand located at the west coast of Langkawi Island. Not just a beautiful sandy beach, Cenang Beach is the biggest town beach in Langkawi island. Resorts, Hotels, Restaurants, Malls, Bars, Watersports, etc. are all available here.
Cenang Beach Langkawi is one of the most beautiful beach in Malaysia. With coconut and palm tree all along the beach, it gives wonderful view to the visitors. While relaxing or sunbathing at the beach, visitors also can enjoy variety of Water sports available here such as Jetski, Parasailing, Banana boat, etc.
Along the beach there are series of resorts, hotels and chalets mostly budget and mid-range that have come up in this area. There are narrow path between each hotels where the visitors can pass through it to the beach. Luxury hotels and Resorts also can be found here.

There are also variety of home stays and guesthouses that located interior or opposite beach side. These low budget rooms usually be an options for backpackers . Though it located opposite the beach but it are walk able to the beach around 500 meters.
Along the road the visitor can find numerous shops, stalls, bar, food trucks, restaurants, duty free shopping mall, etc. Tour operators also can be found alongside the road which offering all kinds of water sports activities, boat tours as well as car and motorcycle rental. Usually operation hours for those operators is from 9am until 12am. On the beach side, there are water sport kiosks alongside the beach the offer Jetski, Banana Boating, parasailing and Island Hopping Boat Tours. These kiosks open at 9am and close until 7pm.
The most important things needed here is foods. Visitors can find variety of stalls and restaurants which serve traditional, Chinese, Indian, Arabic, Thai, Italian and also Mediterranean food. Seafood are really high demand here which lot of the restaurants here serve fresh seafood such as tiger prawns, stingray, crabs, lobsters, sea bass, grouper, etc.. Among the famous restaurants here are Orkid Ria, Telaga Arabic Seafood, Red Tomato, Nam Restaurant, Putumayo, Breakfast Bar, The Cliff, Nest Rooftop and many more.

The restaurants here generally open at early morning and operate till late night. Even during the low season, several restaurants open until mid night. During high season, most of them remain open until 2am. There are also specialized breakfast eateries and bakeries here that open earlier on the morning and close early before afternoon.
From Ceanang Beach you can take a bout tour such Island Hopping tour or Private Island tour. Usually the finest and preferred island for swimming are the Rebak Kecil Island, Rebak Besar Island, Singa Besar Island and Beras Basah island. Occasionally, during the low tide, the visitor can walk through to the Rebak Kecil Island. However, visitors need to be cautious that the tide remains low only for couple of hours. During the low tide also you can spot some locals or foreigner playing a volleyball and football on the beach. You are free to join them playing. Cenang beach also be the most attractive place in Langkawi because of its fantastic sunset view. While enjoying relaxing on the deck chair with a glass of coconut drinks and enjoy the moment of the sunset.

Another great attraction for visitors here are the large number of shops, stalls, restaurants and spas lined up along the beachside road (i.e. Pantai Cenang Road). You will get all sorts of things here including clothes, jewelry, gifts & souvenir items, accessories, and almost anything that you can think of. There are lot many restaurants both budget and upscale that offer all kinds of dishes including local Malay, western, seafood, Indian, Arabic and even fusion cuisine. The entire beachside is a vibrant place full with glittering shops & eateries.
In fact there are several beach bars right on the Pantai Cenang Beach which stay open till late in the evening. One of them is Babylon, another one is Little Lylia's, a reggae bar which is our personal favorite. With music, bar-be-que and drinks, you can have a great time on the beach. There are of course other formal bars & restaurants along the roadside.
There are no public toilets or changing facilities at the Pantai Cenang Beach. However in case of emergency, you can access the toilets of the nearest beachside hotel. I have not heard or seen any one being turned down.
Same with the first station, there are two platform where visitors can view the scenery 360° from the top of the mountain. There are food stalls, toilet, prayer room available there. You can choose whether by a stair or SkyGlide to approach the SkyBridge. SkyGlide is a cabin type of Transport like glass elevator that can move upword and downward which can bring convenient to the visitors. With 94 meter track length, SkyGlide can accommodate up to 12 passengers per trip. It only takes 2 minuts for it to reach the SkyBridge. However, to get more exciting visitors prefer to use the jungle trails or stairs where they can get close to the nature. It takes around 15 minutes to walk through the trails before reach the SkyBridge and it absolutely exhausting.
Walking through a magnificent free span and curved suspension bridge in the world, it will bring you with the most exciting experience here. About 125m length, Langkawi SkyBridge becomes one of the longest curve suspension bridge in the world. However, there are additional fees for Langkawi SkyBridge and SkyGlide where you can get at the SkBridge ticketing counter at the top station.
Another exciting activities can be found at this top station is SkyTrail. Here visitors can walk through the nature from the top of Machihang Mount to the Base Station Langkawi SkyCab. Walking through the jungle by a nature guide, this will be a unique experience where you can learn about the flora and fauna.
Included in the SkyCab Basic package, SkyDome is the second activities after spectacular SkyCab ride. SkyDome can accommodate maximum of 50 pax with approximately 10 minutes showcase. This Space equipped with 12 projectors that brings 360° of 3D image projections. This enjoyable showcase will bring unforgettable experience and memories when you come here.
After a few minutes at the Floating Fish Farm, visitors will be taken to an open calm water surroundings with high rocks and mangroves. from here you can see several species of birds such as Kingfishers, Kite Birds,etc. However the men attractions here are a bunch of reddish brown eagles flying around the sky and snatch the fish on the ocean. Besides that, if lucky you will also spot with Bellied Sea Eagle which are hard to find elsewhere.
While visitors taking pictures of the Birds above the sky, the boatman will take out pieces of chicken skins to throwing into the ocean. In a minutes you will see the eagles closely snatch the chicken skins been thrown. Populations of the eagles been increase years after years. Now almost 500 eagles been populated in this area.
